What is perception?
 Perception is essentially how an individual sees, hears or feels in any given circumstance or situation, and it is constantly changing. We look through and listen through our own filter systems, which have been built upon our past experiences and learning, and color our present perception of our world. For example, difficulty in the perception of hearing, speech or any particular ringing sound that we perceive is the body’s response to the information that it is processing. Perceptions are built on past experiences and experience affects our beliefs.

 We all want vibrant health and happiness and it can be achieved with the right tools. Illness, distress or the body’s outward expression of discomfort, are signals of an imbalance in the body. Once pain appears, the body enters into a crisis stage. The mission of Perception Plus is to teach and assist individuals to maximize their ability to perceive and utilize their auditory sense by focusing on the body’s ability to heal itself. This is achieved when the body has access to the appropriate tools. It is not until our beliefs are adjusted or balanced that our perceptions are in alignment with the body to function at its optimal capacity. The mission of Perception Plus is to not only assist in one’s hearing ability, but to work with the individual in helping to uncover the other contributing factors that may be blocking or preventing the body’s ability to utilize that sense to its fullest. The body then works in harmony for vibrant health and wellness.
As a Doctor of Audiology with 23 years of clinical experience, I have acquired the skills to assist individuals in rebalancing their auditory perceptions. I apply the appropriate clinical tools to evaluate hearing and associated hearing related symptoms and assist in rehabilitation as indicated by each individual’s needs. When someone is exhibiting symptoms of ringing in their ears or other signs that may indicate a medical involvement, I first require that he or she is seen by a physician. This is to rule out any medical condition that could be contributing to those symptoms. There are wonderful teams of medical professionals available to assist in these areas. I am happy to provide referral sources if that is needed. What Perception Plus sees as the challenge to overcome is when presented with cases where medical intervention is unable to assist an individual. There are some conditions in which no current medical approaches are available, such as tinnitus, which affects 40-50 million Americans. This is approximately 17 percent of the general population.
Perception Plus has chosen as its mission to assist those individuals in developing the skills to cope and improve their overall perceptions and to live a more comfortable and balanced life. Our mission is to provide hope and options utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches to assist in ones healing. This is to help in teaching strategies to manage and help reduce distress or difficulties that one is experiencing as a result of auditory related symptoms.
EMF Balancing Technique
Inquire about Dr. Segal’s internship for accreditation for Phase I-IV of the EMF Balancing Technique®. Dr. Segal is offering these sessions at no charge until she has completed the accreditation requirements of the internship. These sessions are limited. Once Dr. Segal has become accredited, these sessions will be available on a fee per session basis. There will be a discounted package price for phase I-IV.
The EMF Balancing Technique® is working with the Universal Calibration Lattice® (UCL). Research scientifically supports that the human system is made up of electromagnetic energy in which there is a constant exchange of energy in and out of the human system from our electromagnetic environment. As a result of thought and action, energetic patterns can rearrange themselves. The EMF Balancing Technique® is designed to work with the UCL. An EMF session facilitates the rearrangement of energetic charges according to the inner wisdom of the receiver of the session. This calibration can be thought of as a “rewiring” for new energy.
